SAFE Act Course Development & Training

The SAFE Act is part of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, which mandated mortgage licensing for Mortgage Loan Originators. The act called for the creation of the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) which requires 20 hours of Pre-licensing education, continuing education, background checks and competency exam requirements for licensing. EMG has created several approved courses and has presented over 250 hours of approved training. The cumulative course and instructor ratings are 4.95 out of 5 for all courses.
